Unreal Engine 4 - placing and testing dialogue triggers, integrating game script in CSV format, uploading and updating data tables, managing character portraits and designations via dialogue manager. Experimenting with blueprints and dialogue manager to help create a conditional dialogue system.

Unreal Engine 5 - basic exploration of the engine, integrating dialogue utilising an Articy Draft 3 plugin.

Visual Studio Code - programmed the dialogue of The Spaceman's Memory Box and conditional events in Rust; used in conjunction with Bevy.

I have been working on Luna Abyss since the early stages of development. During that time, I have been responsible for high level story direction under the oversight of the Creative Director; writing and editing in-game and cutscene dialogue; concepting and creating NPCs; writing supplementary in-game ‘lore” texts; formatting script for VO recording and overseeing VO sessions; working with the art team to add richness and complexity to our environmental storytelling; and implementing dialogue into the game using Unreal Engine 4.

I was also responsible for managing and integrating localised dialogue, UI and supplementary text, ensuring a fully subtitled player experience in German, French, Spanish and Chinese.
Additionally, I have explored the use of Articy Draft 3 to create more complex systems of branching dialogue. I have recently worked with a programmer to incorporate conditional dialogue via UE4 blueprints, responding not only to player choice, but passive player actions.

Manga Rewriter • Seven Seas Entertainment Ltd

Lead rewriter for five ongoing manga series (under the pseudonym "Solo Mia")
Responsible for proofreading the initial translated transcript, and for rewriting the translated text with a view to improving readability whilst maintaining accuracy. I am expected to work to tight deadlines, and to adhere to the ‘series bible’, ensuring continuity and consistency of lore and characterisation.
